Patricia Licata, PhD

Patricia Licata, founder of Ocean Road Consulting, offers clients 25 years of experience from the consulting and financial services sectors. Dr. Licata has extensive background in strategic planning; acquisitions, mergers and divestitures; managing trans-national joint ventures and integrations; and establishing executive and employee education programs at Fortune 500 companies. Dr. Licata brings her unique blend of strategic thinking, leadership coaching and business expertise to consulting clients. She has coached senior executives at JP Morgan Chase, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, and many others. Dr. Licata employs her broad leadership and business transformation experience to advise and coach other leaders in building high-performing teams and leading-edge enterprises. Using tools of shared vision, systems thinking and action learning, Dr. Licata has assisted in developing a leadership team within JP Morgan Chase and three legacy companies, capable of delivering consistently high levels of customer service and generating record profit. As the Vice President managing Organizational Development she provided coaching and consulting to executives and organization leaders. She managed the implementation of initiatives that measurably improved leadership capability and employee productivity, and oversaw a department that provided training for more than 16,000 employees worldwide. Dr. Licata has been recognized as an industry leader for her expertise in training and development. She received numerous awards including the prestigious Service 25 Award, an honor awarded by the technology industry to individuals who have “utilized new technology, processes and ideals to improve the way they deliver support and set the pace for the future.” Dr. Licata’s achievements have also been recognized by the corporate community as a recipient of the Hispanic Corporate Achievers Award, which honors Hispanics who have achieved success and excelled in the corporate world. Dr. Licata earned a PhD and two masters degrees from Columbia University, as well as an MBA from New York University.
